Bling

At the cost of alienating a lot of frugal minded people everwhere, I'd totally buy this. The $20 per bottle pricetag doesn't faze me at all. You can't put a price on something this adorable. It's like a piece of art all ready to be displayed in some pop culture museum! It even has its own necktie! Besides, isn't it time we rescued water, that precious life-giving fluid, from its ignominious existence in cheap plastic bottles.
Now if I can only find 11 other likeminded people to go in on this with me. What? I said I can justify $20, not $240.

I saw your post on Boston Gal's, and I do admire your self-confidence in admitting you'd want one for yourself (I'm being serious, not sarcastic). It's hard to go against popular opinion.
Unless you already know, you might want to look into whether the bottle itself is glass or plastic--it could be plain old plastic with crystals attached and that would be a bummer.
Yep, marching to my own drummer. That's me. :) Good point about the glass vs plastic. I just assumed it had to be glass.
We are talking about water here, right?? Does the gaudiness of the bling add to the taste of the water?
Who knows...in a few years it may be quite a bit more on eBay. Sort of like Billy beer...
You are supposed to drink it? I thought it was to be displayed under glass.
You do know that Gaudi, the Catalan architect hailed by many as mad and colorblind, was considered by others a genius for daring to bend the rules of design and pave the way for modern architecture? I am one of those people. I don't know if this water is exactly history making (although as chrees points out in a few years it may well acquire cult-vintage status) but it's different. And it's kinda charming the same way a very decorative but harmless individual is kinda charming.
I admire the company that is selling it. Great idea!
I would buy the product only one bottle though, I starting seeing unique bottles being sold in stores. There is a vineger bottle that is frosted and I totally would buy it when I get the money. I have decided to collect bottles now since people do it to this day.
